HW2

There is a possible cure for cancer, but it may never see the light of day.  Dichloroacetic acid(DCA)  is believed to be the miracle cure for cancer, but it is not able to be patented, therefore it can't make money.  Without funding, research is scarce.  Million of lives could possibly be saved, but they are being ignored because there is no profit.

Here is an article over DCA, with many links inside it:   http://www.kipnews.org/2011/05/14/scientists-cure-cancer-but-no-one-takes-notice-dichloroacetic-acid/

  1. Money talks. I dont think just because the big drug companies are not gonna manufacture it that it will be kept out of people's hands. It could be marketed as an over-the-counter by almost any company with the claim that it is not intended to treat any disease. The company could show some studies that point towards it curing cancer and someone could try it if they wanted to. This happens with all kinds of herbal treatments, etc. I see not much of a change in the future witht this.

  2. its money, the big medical companies are intertwined with insurance companies, which pay the salary of law makers and parent companies of media networks, so if they found an all natural way to do something that cannot be pattented, the easiest way to do that is to make it look like your tryin to find a cure, and make the guys that claim they have it look like loonies, from what was said in the presentation it agrees with the crazy guy on tv sellin the all natural get rid of cancer pills, idk, maybe they're in cahoots with each other and run the guys that everybody thinks that are runnin everything
